In November 2023, the RESCUE team had the honor of participating in the Entomological Society of Korea (ESK) annual meeting. Professors from the Department of Entomology at Kasetsart University delivered insightful online presentations on a range of topics including Black Soldier Flies (BSF), mosquitoes, and bed bugs.
- Prof. Theeraphap Chareonviriyaphap discussed “Mosquito Behavior Studies and Facilities at Kasetsart University.”
- Assoc. Prof. Anchana Thancharoen presented on “BSF Farming: Sustainable Practices in Thailand.”
- Dr. Daeyun Kim explored the differences between “Common and Tropical Bed Bugs.”
This was our first time attending the ESK annual meeting, and we look forward to future collaborations.
Mark your calendars for the ESK 2024 annual meeting, which will be held from November 28-30, 2024, with the theme “Urban Entomology.”
